WHAT COUNTS AND HOW DO I SUBMIT MY RESULTS?
Once the event starts (0000 on 25th December 2025) you can submit results via the SUBMIT RESULTS page which will be linked here nearer the time.
The easiest way to do it is to link your Strava account and the results table will automatically update each time you log a run.
Alternatively you can enter your distance manually using the submit results form, also on that page.
Whichever method you choose, the system will then keep a log of your cumulative distance and update your position. You can delete any doubles by clicking on the red cross next to that run.
You can run anywhere, anytime. Outside on road, trail, on the treadmill, anywhere you like.
This is an honour based system. No proof is necessary.
CAN I SWITCH DISTANCE/ SLAM AFTER I'VE STARTED?
Yes you can pick your target distance as you go. Aim for any one of the totals and if you want to aim for more, or less, you can do so exactly as you wish.
The distance of the Slam you have entered was stored when you registered. To change the map leaderboard page you appear on, log back in to your SI Entries account by clicking here and select your new distance.
ARE THERE ANY RULES?
The primary objective of this event is to bring our amazing community together once again. As a result we won't be verifying and checking all results that come in, rather trusting everyone to input their overall disstance for completion honestly. if there are any obvious errors, we will get in touch to advise and help you correct them.
Those who are under 18 years of age must have parental consent to enter.
HOW OFTEN DOES THE LEADERBOARD/ RESULTS TABLE UPDATE?
As a minimum, the results will refresh roughly every hour.
WHAT WILL THE RESULTS LOOK LIKE?
There is a live results table showing how far you have travelled in your respective race, virtually, against our real courses. This will go live closer to the event start.
WHERE CAN I RUN? IS A TREADMILL OK?
You can run anywhere, anytime. Outside on road, trail, on the treadmill, anywhere you like.
CAN I SUBMIT MORE THAN ONCE?
Yes it will simply overwrite the initial result. Example: If you made a mistake you can simply go back and enter a new result.
You must submit all results by 2359 on the final day.
DO I HAVE TO RUN OR CAN I WALK?
You can run or walk, doesn't matter which. But as above please make your session a run or walk to actively achieve your target, don't add any daily step counts to your total.
Under 18s may sign up to the Bike/ Scooter category and can compete on those.
I DON'T HAVE A WATCH HOW DO I RECORD MY DISTANCE?
You don't have to use a watch or GPS device if you don't want to. This is a community event and is an honour based system so simply put in what you achieved to your best judgement. You can use google maps or a similar open mapping system to work out roughly how far you travelled.
DO I HAVE TO WEAR MY BIB NUMBER FOR EACH RUN?
You don't have to wear your bib each time you run, but it would be great for the community sharing if you did and even more so if you run past other people out running the event. The hashtag to use on social media is #centurioncommunity.
WHEN WILL MY AWARDS BE SENT OUT?
We will post your award out to you as soon as the event finishes. If you finish earlier than the 4th March you will still need to wait for your medal or buckle, as many people will subsequently decide to change up a distance. Please give us at least 2 weeks from the end of the event, to get the awards out to you, but of course we will go as fast we can. International orders might take longer.
WHEN IS THE LAST DAY TO ENTER?
You can enter any time up until the end of the 4th March 2026. Runs you have already completed can count towards your event even though you were not entered.
CAN I ENTER MORE THAN ONE EVENT?
Yes, if you want to run more than one distance you can enter multiple distances via SI Entries / the enter button.
CAN I RUN WITH MY DOG/ IS THERE A CANICROSS CATEGORY?
Yes - Simply select 'yes' during registration to 'running with a dog?' and you will appear in your age group but also the canicross category.
Please do not enter your dog in the race directly/ of it's own accord as it will appear against humans in the results. Which means a young child may miss out on a prize as it has been beaten by a dog / adult :)
I AM BASED OUTSIDE OF THE UK, CAN I STILL TAKE PART?
Yes! The event is open to everybody no matter your location. We hope to see many international runners taking part.
WHEN WILL MY BIB NUMBER BE AVAILABLE TO ME?
Bibs are not posted out, they are available to you once you enter. Within a short time of receiving your entry, you will appear on the entrants page here. Click on your race number to see your bib number and you can print it from there.
WHAT IS THE ONE COMMUNITY WEEK AND WHEN IS IT?
We will also be holding a One Community week from February 17th - February 23rd. This is optional, free with your One Slam entry and comes with its own set of awards that will be sent out to all finishers.
Centurion Running One Community is a virtual event which takes place over 7 days, starting at 0001 GMT on Monday 17th February 2026 and ending at 2359 on Sunday 23rd February. The event is for everybody, anywhere in the world, of any age.
You can select any of the target distances you wish from the below, and run that distance in one go, or cumulatively, over the course of the week.
You may submit results in any format via the results page which will appear in the lead up to the race. Enter the time and day on which you started your first run, and then the finish time of your final run. If you do the distance in one go, then the start and finish time of that one run. The system will then calculate your overall time.
The results will show in order of cumulative time, and by category. Categories include gender and age groups. However the primary objective is to complete the challenge you set for yourself and to engage with your friends, family and the Centurion Community by sharing your journey along the way. Age Categories are available all the way from Under 5's to Vet 90 (aside from the 100 mile where categories will be senior and up only
WHEN WILL THE COACHING WEBINARS TAKE PLACE?
We also want this to give you all the best possible start to your 2026 season, to learn about your training and improve your running in the process. To compliment this, we will be holding fornightly coaching webinars on Zoom - open to all entrants. These will be led by Robbie Britton our Head of Endurance at Centurion and some will also feature other members of our coaching team. The first one will take place on just prior to the event and will be open to everyone including non-Slam runners. After that, links to the webinars will only be shared with entrants to the event. Topics covered will be around central themes (TBC) but in the past these have included:
All of the sessions will be conducted via zoom. Links and meeting details will be shared in the pre-race mail outs and in the lead up to each one.
