After a 4 year hiatus, like a politician, hoping everyone has forgotten about that incident with the badgers in Wimbledon Common we are unleashing hell on the ultra running* world again.
If you have never heard of the Piece of String race, fear not, you know just as much as those who have heard and even more than those who have run it before.
The format of the race is simple. It has a start and a finish, just like any other race. However the middle bit is undefined. If you like your races with a lot of middle then you might be in luck here.
We will be inviting you to apply shortly. There will be strict qualifying criteria for entering. We are not quite sure what these are until we hear back from our lawyers.
If you have any questions at this stage then this really isn't the race for you.
