Road

Race Registration is at Farnham Leisure Centre, Dogflud Way, Farnham, GU9 7UD. The race itself starts at the trail head of the North Downs Way. Runners will commence the 7 minutes walk down to the race start following the race briefing.

Do not park at the Leisure Centre itself. Parking is available just around the corner (100 metres past the leisure centre car park) at Riverside Car Park at a cost of £4.20 for the day (Sundays are free). If that fills up which is extremely unlikely, then the best place for parking is Farnham Station which has ample spaces and a weekend ticket option.

The finish is at the Julie Rose Stadium, Ashford, TN24 9QX.

Air

For runners coming from further afield, the nearest airport is London Heathrow. The race start is 30 miles from the airport or a 40 minute drive. London is also served by Gatwick which is approximately 40 miles from the race start or just under an hours drive. London Stansted and London Luton are much further afield.

Rail

The nearest rail station to the start is Farnham Station which is an 8 minute walk from Race HQ at Farnham Leisure Centre.

Ashford Station is 2 miles from the finish line.

Accommodation

There are plenty of options for accomodation in Farnham although no specific budget accommodation. In Farnham itself and within half a mile of the start point are the The Bush Hotel and the Bishops Table Hotel. Just outside of Farnham in the neighbouring town of Aldershot there is a Premier Inn.  You will need to either drive or arrange a taxi from that hotel to the start point at Farnham Leisure Centre.  Alternatively there are many smaller Bed and Breakfast options which can be found by typing Farnham Hotels into google search.

There are lots of great accommodation options for our new finish in Ashford. The Downsview Guesthouse / Ashford Travelodge are just some of the many options available, all a short distance from the stadium.

For a break post-race, The Langham Hotel is one of our race partners. The Langham is a lovely Eastbourne establishment, owned by the family of our 2016 SDW50, NDW50, NDW100 and SDW100 winner Neil Kirby. Because of their close affiliation with the race, they are offering rooms to runners at 10% off of standard rates. To book, please visit their website here and use the discount code NDW

Transport

There will be a shuttle bus operating from the Julie Rose Stadium back to Farnham Station, departing at 12:15pm on Sunday. Competitors who wish to take the shuttle can do so at a cost of £30 and tickets can be purchased during registration, or subsequently, by heading back to your registration via the email you receive confirming your entry to the event.
