Road

Registration and bib collection will be in the West Cafe in Worthing College, Hll Barn Lane, Worthing, BN14 9QF. Please note there is another Worthing College address in Bolsover Road. It is not that one. The college has parking and is adjacent to the recreation ground (2 minute walk) where the race will start. 

The race start is at The Recreation ground, Hill Barn Lane, Worthing, West Sussex BN14 9QF. There is parking at the start and marshalls will indicate where you should leave your car. If you are taking the shuttle bus you may leave the car for the duration of the race. 

The race finish is at Eastbourne Sports Park, Cross Levels Way, Eastbourne, BN21 2UF. The ground is behind Eastbourne District Hospital, but there is no access through the hospital itself. The Sports Park is adjacent to Sussex Downs Vocational Sixth Form College and Park College. It is clearly marked on Cross Levels Way.

Rail

The nearest rail station to the start is Worthing Station. Timetables can be checked at www.nationalrail.co.uk

Walking directions from the station: Turn right and go to the level crossing, turn right into South Farm Road, head north passing a small parade of shops, keep going. Worthing High School is on the left. Continue on past another parade of shops. Broadwater Cemetery is on the right. Keep going until reaching Broadwater Green. Head for the roundabout in the northern corner A24/A27. Cross to the far side which is Hillbarn Lane. The start is in the recreation ground up the lane and to the right.

Accommodation

There are plenty of options for accomodation in both Worthing and Eastbourne. Locate your nearest options using the above postcodes and a google search. 

The race finishes in Eastbourne and there are a number of hotels in close proximity.

The Langham Hotel a lovely Eastbourne establishment is owned by the family of our 2016 SDW50 and SDW100 winner Neil Kirby. Transport 

There will be ONE shuttle leaving at 9:45pm from the finish at Eastbourne Sports Club Athletics Track. The shuttle will make one stop only, back at Hillbarn Recreation Ground for runners to collect their vehicles. Competitors who wish to take the shuttle will need to select that option during the registration process. There is an additional charge of £15 for the shuttle. You can purchase a shuttle ticket during registration for the event. For 2020 the shuttle is now full and no more tickets can be offered.
