The Wendover Woods Weekender is the biggest and most accessible event we’ve ever put on! We’ve got everything from kids events to the toughest 100 miler on our books and everything in between. If you’ve ever wanted to experience the hallowed grounds of Wendover Woods this is your chance.
But there is more! Alongside some of the best trail running races in the South of England we’re also introducing our Wendover Woods Weekender Village, full to the brim with special guest talks, guided runs, plentiful food options, demo gear from our favourite brands and much more. As we confirm details on who, what and when these will be happening we’ll announce them on social media and update the site. We've even added the Wendover Woods 10, a 10 mile single loop race on the Sunday morning so those non-ultra runners can still experience the beauty of Wendover Woods.
To allow you and your family and friends to make a real weekend of this we’ll be opening up a camping field too. It'll be basic (toilets of course!) and suitable for both tents and campervans we’re keen for as many people as possible to enjoy the Wendover Woods Weekender. If you don’t want to do the running but just want to come along for the Weekender then camping only tickets are available too.
The full schedule can be found here but below is a brief breakdown.
The weekend will start at 0800 on Friday 7th July 2023 for the WW100. The 100 milers will head out onto the course first at 1000.
They will carry on through to their 32 hour cut off on Saturday afternoon.
The WWW Camping and Village (incl Toilets and Food Facilities) will open from 1600 on Friday and last until 1500 Sunday.
Saturday morning will see the WW50 start at its usual time of 0930 with its regular 15 hour cut off.
Also on Saturday morning the WW Weekender Village will open with food, demo kit from our favourite brands and a full line up of speakers and guided runs throughout the day.
When the sun begins to set, we kick off the WW50km which begins at 2200 with all finishers due in before the 0700 cut off on Sunday morning.
If that wasn't enough we will have brand new events on Sunday morning. The WW Kids races begin at 0830 and the inaugural WW10 at 1000 with a four hour cut off. The WW Weekender Village will be open on Sunday morning until 1200 as well, again with food, brands and lots of running entertainment.
At 1500 the site will need to be vacated by all parties
Entries for 2023 will open at 1000 on Saturday 29th October 2022. Places are open on a first come, first served basis. The qualifying standards required can be found on each event page on the tabs above. There will be no waiting lists for these events.

The camping field will be suitable for tents and campervans (no caravans). You will not be parked next to your tent pitch. We will have a few wheelbarrows to help get your tent from your car to your pitch - but bear this in mind when packing! The campsite will be basic, a large open field with toilets in the camping section.
The cost of camping is £25 for one person/ one tent and every person over 12 is an additional £5 (2 adults, a 15 year old and a 10 year old would be £35 for example). Camping will open at 1600 on Friday 7th July and all cars and tents must be removed before 1500 on Sunday 9th July.
Camping or Camper Van only tickets are available here - these also give you access to the Weekender Village.
